Infact, the answer is variable according to your concept and strategies. To give you a certain date wouldn’t be healthy at all. But let me create you a equation;

If, 1000 thousand dollars is the base amount to say that, this blog (or site) is being monetized well;

Your blog needs to make 33 dollars a day. Your blog can make this via social media in some days but if you want to see this constant,  you need more strategies. If your blog is not old and indexed to search engines well, if you’re a new blogger, 33 dollars will not be an easy target for you. I have seen and followed too many sites that has grew very quickly. But there is a similarity on all of these blogs;

  • Everytime i visit them, i see new posts, generated by them.
  • Their traffic source is mainly direct.
  • They have real-connections with other webmasters.
  • They’re focused on a specific content.
  • They follow the industry and blogging blogs.
  • They use their time effective. To sit on your chair and clicking on “f5” for 10 hours a day won’t help you to make money. The point is, you need to change your point of view. Advertisers won’t pay for your efforts, they’ll pay for the result.

As a web developer, i recommend you to create targets for yourself. For example, “i’ll make 5 dollars a day in 2 months, i’ll make 20 at least in 6 months etc. But you should be a bit realistic. Why a bit? Because Web Industry is not for totally realistic people…
